Preserving Multilingual Option Labels in a Yupoo Request

Keep the seller’s original-language colour, size or model label beside your translation so a buying request does not lose the exact selectable option.

Translation should not replace the source label

A Yupoo album or seller listing may use a label you translate for your own notes. A loose translation can collapse two distinct colours or size systems into one English phrase. Copy the original characters exactly and keep your explanation in a separate field. Do not “correct” a code or silently convert a size system.

Store a two-column choice

One column holds the displayed seller label and source URL. The other holds your interpretation and the question still needing confirmation. The variant-notes comparison explains why the selected label belongs in the pre-purchase record.

If the album title and image caption use different terms, follow the title-caption discrepancy guide. Ask the seller which original-language term identifies the current option. Do not use automatic translation as proof that two options are the same.

Send an unambiguous request

Include the source label, selected photo or item code, your desired option and any unresolved meaning. Invite the handling service to confirm the exact selectable option before approval. The category-aware buying brief shows where labels for shoes, clothing and bags fit.

If the response remains ambiguous, retain both strings and mark the variant pending. This protects the purchase record without claiming fluency or inventing a seller policy.
